HOLLY HUNT welcomes Colombian design studio VERDI to its luxury portfolio. VERDI prides itself on crafting exquisite handwoven rugs using traditional looms and organic local fibres from its Bogotá-based studio. Founded almost 30 years ago by textile designer Carlos Vera Dieppa, VERDI is now overseen by his son Tomas and daughter Cristina who continue to honour his legacy and passion for local crafts and traditions. Each rug in the collection is created using a combination of natural fibers and contemporary materials such as fique, copper, fishing line and stainless steel to create a unique, shimmering surface. Using entirely ethically sourced materials, VERDI’s rugs are a testament to the brand’s exceptional craft and sustainable practice.
